Workshop feedback

The objective of the symposium was to present the research activities emanating from the UTs in relation to the energy, ecological, societal transition in the fields of Materials, Health, Energy, Industry of the future, Transport and Mobility, Bioeconomy.

In order to highlight the theme of sustainability, beyond the scientific presentations, it was also important in the spirit of the organizing committee to take this criterion into account in the organization of the symposium (caterer, jury prize, etc.).

This first edition was a real success. Below are some key figures:

  • 60 participants
  • 36 presentations of which 3 keynotes:

    • Reine Talj, Heudiasyc laboratory, head of IRP ADONIS (UTC - CNRS - CNRS Liban - Lebanese University)

             "IRP ADONIS: Diagnosis and intelligent control approaches for more ecological systems

    • Manuela Sechilariu, Director of Avenues Laboratory

             "Electric Vehicle Charging and Power Grid Issues Scenarios versus PV-powered charging

              stations"

    • Erwann Guénin, TIMR. Laboratory, Head of the Organic Chemistry and Alternative Technologies team

               "Green chemistry and processes for functional bio-based materials"

    • Eric Noppe, Roberval Laboratory, Hydraulic Chair (UTC - CETIM)

              "Hydraulic power transmission: a viable solution at a time of energy transition?

    including 10 presentations related to MSTD Doctoral and Post Doctoral Work

   including a panel discussion hosted by Marie-Christine Ho Ba Tho, challenging our guests Anouk Barberousse and Valérie Guénon on "The locks to be overcome to succeed in the environmental transition and the orientations and actions to be carried out"

  • 3 jury prizes, as well as 3 public prizes
